Leslie Taylor, MD
Psychiatrist
Dr. Leslie Taylor is a board-certified psychiatrist specializing in mood disorders, addiction, clinical research, and medication management of psychiatric disorders. Dr. Taylor is a pioneer in guiding FDA-approved TMS treatment in Madison. She has over 20 years of experience in treating adults and adolescents.
Ian Powell, MD
Psychiatrist
Dr. Ian Powell is an Internal Medicine MD specializing in Addiction Medicine. Dr Powell has over 25 years of diverse experience with out-patient and in-patient settings. Dr Powell supports patients receiving psychotherapy at Connections Counseling and one other Rosecrance location. Core passions include working with patients with substance use disorders, co-occurring psychiatric and medical disorders, coordination and teamwork with therapeutic treaters, and prescribing & management of recovery medications.
Alison Owens, B.ED, SAC-IT
TMS Coordinator
Ali earned Bachelor of Education in human service leadership from the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh and her Substance Abuse Counselor license. In August 2020, she began interning at Connections Counseling and then became the TMS Coordinator for TMS Center of Madison in January 2021. Ali is a certified BrainsWay dTMS Operator. She is committed to mental health and substance use advocacy and strives to eliminate the negative stereotypes associated with mental health issues. Ali believes in fighting for each patient’s rights and works tirelessly toward ensuring that no one falls through the cracks. Her dedication to continuous improvement, personal recovery, and self-development further enhances her ability to provide the best care possible. As an employee of Connections Counseling, she wholeheartedly embraces the principles of diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) and treats all patients with the utmost dignity, respect, and grace, irrespective of their gender, ethnicity, religion, sexual orientation, or upbringing. Kylee Britton, B.PSY, B.SOC
TMS Technician
Kylee grew up in Madison and went on to earn dual Bachelor of Arts degrees in psychology and sociology from the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse. Her educational background is rooted in the importance of understanding the whole person, not only on an individual level, but also through socioeconomic and intersectional understanding. She has spent her career focusing on interacting with as many demographics of people as possible to create a well-rounded, care-centered clinical approach. She has worked with all ages and ability levels. She has professional experience in education and career mentoring, respite care, inpatient and emergency behavioral health, and most recently developed a passion for TMS technology and the notable difference it can make in people’s lives. Kylee has an unfaltering desire to learn as much as she can about all things human and believes in the healing power of music, art, and language. Working at TMS Center of Madison allows her to watch as depressed individuals reinvest in themselves and meet tangible goals through the neuroplasticity that TMS treatment provides.
