TMS Therapy
For some patients experiencing depression, medications do not work. In some cases, medications provide no relief from the symptoms of depression, and in others, the side effects experienced reduce the quality of life. Transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS) offers a new, evidence-based alternative to help adults who suffer from major depressive disorder.
BrainsWay Deep TMS Therapy is treatment cleared by the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) in 2008 for patients suffering from depression who have not achieved satisfactory improvement from prior antidepressant treatment. It is performed in our office under the supervision of a psychiatrist.
